We are delighted with the strategic and innovative partnership that has existed from the outset between Robeec, Beemondia and the European Association of Living Beekeeping. Beemondia, with its 14 years of experience in ethological beekeeping and research in this field, brings innovative methodologies to the table. Their expertise in hive management and respectful beekeeping techniques is a major asset in improving the productivity and sustainability of beekeeping practices using native bees in Rwanda.
The European Association of Living Beekeeping, with over 30 years' experience in promoting beekeeping methods that respect bees and biodiversity, plays a crucial role in this partnership. Their network of professionals and their commitment to native bee conservation enrich our joint collaboration, providing essential insights and knowledge to guide beekeeping practices towards a more respectful and holistic approach.
Main objectives of the partnership :
Development of Training Programs: The implementation of joint training programs, focusing on sustainable techniques and ecological and sanitary management of native bees, will directly benefit Rwandan beekeepers.
Research and Innovation: The partnership stimulates research and development to bring innovations to Rwandan beekeeping, drawing on the most recent advances in the field.
