Partnership between Robeec Ltd and French company Beemondia
and the European Association of Living Beekeeping

We are delighted with the strategic and innovative partnership that has existed from the outset between Robeec, Beemondia and the European Association of Living Beekeeping. This collaboration aims to unite our expertise and resources to promote sustainable, environmentally-friendly beekeeping using the native bee in Rwanda, while supporting the region's economic and ecological development.


Robeec Ltda key player in beekeeping in Rwanda, benefits from the support and accumulated experience of its partners. Its ability to integrate local knowledge and sustainable beekeeping practices is strengthened by the credibility and expertise of the French company Beemondia and the European Association of Living Beekeeping.

 Beemondia, with its 14 years of experience in ethological beekeeping and research in this field, brings innovative methodologies to the table. Their expertise in hive management and respectful beekeeping techniques is a major asset in improving the productivity and sustainability of beekeeping practices using native bees in Rwanda.

The European Association of Living Beekeeping, with over 30 years' experience in promoting beekeeping methods that respect bees and biodiversity, plays a crucial role in this partnership. Their network of professionals and their commitment to native bee conservation enrich our joint collaboration, providing essential insights and knowledge to guide beekeeping practices towards a more respectful and holistic approach.

Main objectives of the partnership :

Knowledge and Resource Exchange This partnership facilitates a dynamic exchange of information, skills and technologies, thereby improving beekeeping practices in Rwanda.
Development of Training Programs: The implementation of joint training programs, focusing on sustainable techniques and ecological and sanitary management of native bees, will directly benefit Rwandan beekeepers.
Research and Innovation: The partnership stimulates research and development to bring innovations to Rwandan beekeeping, drawing on the most recent advances in the field.
Bee Conservation and Awareness: A shared commitment to bee conservation and biodiversity, raising awareness among communities and decision-makers of the crucial importance of native bees.
Community Development Support: The partnership contributes to the economic development of local communities through sustainable beekeeping initiatives, generating employment and income opportunities.

Product distribution in Europe : Together we're always stronger. BeeMondia uses its professional network to distribute “Royal Ubuki” honey in Europe.  

This partnership marks an important step towards sustainable and respectful livestock farming in Rwanda.
